ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS PADA PODCAST “KIKI PUTRA BONGKAR KECURANGAN UN, LULUS PAKET C MALAH JADI LULUSAN S2 STANFORD!?”

Abstract


This research uses a qualitative descriptive research methodology and applies Teun A. Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis technique to examine the text in Dr. Richard Lee, MARS. The 55 minute 37 second podcast "Kiki Putra Exposes UN Cheating, Passes Package C, Even Becomes a Oxford Master's Degree" featuring Kiki Putra was uploaded to the YouTube channel on August 8 2024 and became a source of research data. Indonesian education is the subject of the podcast. Discourse components include theme macrostructure, superstructure (introduction, content, conclusion, and conclusion), and microstructure (background, presuppositions, intent, conditional coherence, and metaphor) identified by the researcher. To address school fraud related to the UN's use of the old education system, Kiki Putra, a master's degree holder, founded the Nation's Child Leaders Foundation (YPAB), a non-governmental organization that provides equal education for out-of-school children. Through YPAB, Kiki and her staff have been able to provide access to high-quality education to all students, regardless of background or social status, while helping them develop principles of honesty and good character. In the podcast, Dr. Richard Lee, MARS conveys his opinions about education and higher education with a unique flavor.
